SAMHSA’s 24-hour Helpline
From Drug Rehab Wiki
SAMHSA's 24-hour helpline is a phone service available every day at all hours of the day and night that provides information on local resources for drug and alcohol abuse.
You can call the number, 1-800-662-HELP for free, and a counselor will give you information on local treatment centers, support groups, community-based organizations, and free publications. The number receives about 30,000 calls a month.
SAMHSA also operates a 24-hour phone number for anyone considering suicide.
