Behavioral therapy

Behavioral therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on changing destructive or unwanted behaviors by replacing them with new, healthier behaviors. It is based on the principles of classical conditioning developed by Ivan Pavlov and operant conditioning developed by B.F. Skinner. This form of psychotherapy is effective in the treatment of anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders and other addiction problems, depression, insomnia, and phobias.
